The TX-4 150 checks all the boxes for a great entry-level moving spot for small to medium sized stages. It’s fairly narrow beam angle means it’s punchy next to much larger fixtures. It’s got all of the standard features, including rotating gobos and a rotating prism. Combine both together for a mesmerizing look.
Build-wise, it shines above similar products in the same range. You’re going to find a nicer-quality exterior plastic, great quality DMX 3-pin and PowerCon locking plugs, and a single clamp point on it’s base.
Overall, it’s a win for a non-zooming moving head spot.
