The MB1 is what we like to see in a beam fixture, in a compact size. A lot of cheaper, LED-based beam lights feature beam angles that are 3° or greater. The MB1 clocks in at under 1°, which is what makes for a great beam! It’s got a good set of features including (2) prisms, and is a really great value.
The only thing we don’t love is that it fits into Mega-Lite’s lower-end range, so it’s only warrantied for 1 year. However, we’ve done our research, and it’s a solid unit and doesn’t seem to be dying out of warranty in droves or anything crazy like that. So, it’s a solid buy in our book!
