Colorband PiX-M ILS
A great striplight that moves – able to do blinder/backlight and cool tilting movement, all at a really reasonable price.

COLORband PiX-M ILS a moving LED strip light, is a versatile wall-wash light that can create dynamic sweeping, chase, animation and blinder effects thanks to its rotating base, pixel-mapping capabilities, and the ability to control each of its 10 LEDs separately. Its motors allow you to angle the light where it’s needed. COLORband Pix-M USB features D-Fi USB compatibility for wireless master/slave or DMX control but you can also access dramatic, pre-built automated programs with or without DMX. Wireless, non-DMX operation is also available with the optional IRC-6 remote.

I have loved this light for years. It’s the best budget-model striplight with moving tilt that I’ve ever been able to find.
Here’s what we like – the beam angle is wide enough that you can wash a wall or backdrop with it and it looks good. But, tilt in into the air, and with some atmosphere you get great beams. Many of the other units have a tighter angle, which while looking better in the haze, makes it a single-purpose light.
This one is well done.
